Prada “First Spring”
April 14th, 2010A White Label Product’s sister company North6 took Prada to Shanghai for Yang Fudong’s “First Spring,” showcasing its Spring/Summer 2010 campaign. The title comes from an old Chinese saying, “the whole year’s work depends on a good start in spring.” Like his previous films, “First Spring” juxtaposes space and time, creating a beautiful and baffling world for the wandering urbanites that are his stock in trade. It combines tradition and modernity, stasis and motion, east and west. The result acts as a perfect complement to the mix of styles and fabrics in the Prada line.
