The Independent raves about aWLp’s David Michalek’s Slow Dancing installation in its London debut. Twenty-foot tall screens present an array of dancers in stunning slow motion. Shot at 1000 frames per second, the vignettes put every subtle and intricate movement on display. After opening in Trafalgar Square, the installation is running at the Village Underground until July 24th.

Adorable Demon
October 21st, 2009Spike Jonze just released a short film, We Were Once A Fairytale, he did with Kanye West, which Whitelabel’s Wyatt Troll was the cinematographer on. The film follows a very inebriated West on a fictional ‘night on the town’ that ends with West facing his own inner demon-who happens to be adorable and animatronic.
