To Rome With Love, Woody Allen’s latest film with frequent collaborator/cinematographer aWLp’s Darius Khondji, will be making its North American premiere as the opening film for the 2012 Los Angeles Film Festival. The film is packed with a star-studded ensemble cast, including Woody Allen himself returning to the big screen since his last appearance in Scoop in 2006.

Starting this Friday, Slow Dancing by aWLp’s David Michalek will be projected on the façade of Widener Library in Harvard Yard as part of the 20th anniversary celebration of Harvard’s ARTS FIRST festival. Michalek documented over 40 dancers—from virtuosi of ballet and Balinese classical dance to masters of hip-hop and krumping—including Harvard’s own Jill Johnson, Director of the OFA Dance Program and faculty member in the Department of Music. Photographed by aWLp’s Stéphane Sednaoui, the ad features the two look, “day” and “night,” which unsurprisingly, is a nod to the Material Girl.
